I can not express my gratefulness and thank Jan enough for he’s unconditional care and generosoty to grant my 14 year old son the opportunity to be able to go on the beach and enjoy endless laughter in the sea with this magnificent Mobirider. Without this Mobirider we would have never been able to take him on the beach. How do you tell your child it is impossible for him to experience what every child dream of, but with this chair it was made possible. We went for a wedding in George. I heard about the beach chair in Sedgefield so we went to try it out. At no charge we got the chair form the Pili Pili Restaurant and I transferred into it. My family pulled me on to the beach and then in the shallow waters.

It was the most amazing feeling to feel the sand between your toes and to feel the sea water splash against your skin. I almost felt normal again. It meant so much to me not just physically but mentally as well.

I just want to thank Jan Lombaard and the owners of Pili Pili Restaurant to make it now accessible for all people in wheelchairs to experience the beach and the water again. It was one of the most memorable days in my life.

I want to ask all the Restaurant owners etc. to please purchase more chairs to change the lives of so many wheelchair users in South Africa.

We would like to thank Jan for his kind heart for making his beach wheelchair available when taking our parents on holiday this month. Without they would not have been able to experience the sand and sea the way they did. My mom is very frail after a hip replacement and can barely walk on her own.
